Solution
to Corrosion
A
photograph of 2 butterfly discs that were
partially submerged in aerated salt water for 30 days at 80ºF.
The
corroded disc is aluminum bronze, a metal that is supposed to be
corrosion resistant. As you will observe in the photograph, the
water line on the aluminum bronze disc is very evident.
Below the water line, there is generalized corrosion. Above the
water line, in the vapor space exposed to air and salt spray, you will
observe pitting corrosion. The ENDURO-BONDTM protected
disc remains undamaged.
-
ENDURO-BONDTM
is a dry powdered coating process that will make your ductile iron and
carbon steel valves outlast stainless steel in corrosive environments.
-
Protects where others
fail. A thermally bonded veneer that protects threads without
compromising the makeup or tolerance of your connections.
-
Produces smooth, even
1-4 mils of protective coating to all areas of metal parts.
-
Not a paint or plastic; ENDURO-BONDTM
is a complex formula of thermopolymers and selective additives.
-
Resistant to salt
water, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, oxygen, and stimulation
acids.
-
High temperature
reaction (750 - 850ºF) results in thermal stability and eliminates
pin-holes in the coating.
-
Reduces operating
expenses in production, refining, and industrial processing.
-
More durable than
plastics, ceramics and epoxys.
